the old debate ADA or AMA. ADA is a much more common name (never known any Amas)

Agree that Ada is a better answer
Because the clue refers to 'her' most of us are thinking the 'parent' part has to be female but it doesn't and 'Da' is a well used Irish term for father ie parent.
