As I suspected, more is coming to light about this situation.
It appears that not only has Mr Stewart been in heatedexchanges with the other party for some time, he had been warned on more than one occasion about the use of his Twitter account which is linked to his employers.
This additional information somewhat diminishes the outrage about perceived knee jerk reactions and unfair treatment.
