Damn, sounds hilarious.....have I missed it as it says it was to be aired Thursday (day of article)?
Repeated today at 8pm on 4seven.
Won't be watching...I find kids "being hilarious" to be tiresome and very unfunny.
It was funny. Interviewer to angelic little girl "and how do you think Mary would have felt after travelling all that way"? Little girl "knackered"

I loved it, loved it, loved it. Brilliant acting from such small children. Thoroughly enjoyable, the funny things they said had me in stitches.

Zacs-Master, Drat! I assumed it was next week. Thanks to gingejbee for letting us know it's on again today at 8pm on 4seven.
Watching now. Very sweet though I don't think Cuba is a good advert for home schooling. (imo)
I loved the unscripted "Go away or I'll punch you in the face"
Looked like most of the cast had a head to head with this feisty young lady long before they started rehearsals judging by their dental displays. ( or lack of them) :-) Very sweet. Can't wait for my young grand daughters to join us on Christmas day.

Asked how she thought Mary felt on that long journey by donkey, one little girl replied "Knackered". So funny.

Interesting that the one home-schooled child whose mother is an artist and delights in his expressions of freedom (or words to that effect) was the only one who was naughty, rude, and disruptive. So much for expressing his freedom.
I suppose it was a bit unfair to the boy, taking him from the freedom he enjoyed (and his isolation) and 'dropping' him in with children who already had a (small)bit of discipline.
But he did come across as a brat. ;)
Little Cuba could find himself repeating history, isolated and friendless until he wakes up eventually.
I'm sure mummy and daddy are very proud of his 'spirit' though.
That little oriental? girl, Jayda? was a smasher, wasn't she?
Question Author
Cuba's parents are doing him no favours! Jayda was gorgeous!
I thought the same about Cuba. When a child starts making friends feel cross with them about their bad behaviour it's not good. Poor child is going to be excluded from a lot of games and fun if he stays like this.
Question Author
He was certainly adept at anti-social behaviour. Poor kid.

I think it will definitely be interesting to you since it is a classic of world literature and everyone should read this book.

No need I have seen the film, Boris Karloff was great.
