I have had one of the above units for quite a while,so long I've lost the instruction book.It says on the m/c no more than 5 minutes at any one time,but I don't know how frequently it can be used.Can anyone help me please? Thanks.

I'd guess as often as you would like. The "five minute" limit is probably to prevent the unit over-heating.
