I think the Pennines May have been a barrier protecting us here, unless there’s worse to come, it was windy but not excessively so, a bit of rain but nothing much, I hope no one took the brunt of it and had structural damage to their property

One good thing is OH can gather up the fallen wood from the woods behind us. He has permission from the farm estate. We will never be cold whilst we live here!

Minor damage. Water butt blown over, bird feeders down, some rain through roof, but generally very lucky considering the way the wind has been howling round all day.
