Cost the School £8k apparently, money they can ill afford, to indulge someone who thinks they are in some way "special"!

Sit at the back of the class. Job done.
// Maybe the school threw in the towel not because it knew it was in breach of the law //

there is quite a lot of caving in when faced with bottomless govt purses
as the bean counters say 'look it is just not worth it'

at work - when I did hur hur hur
they were gonna be screwed by the gender police
so they said to the discriminator ( alleged that is!)
you will sign this !
and he said no no it is a matter of principle we fight on!
and his employer said 'no! you fight on the dole queue OR you sign ! - - - now!

and I can imagine this happening at the skool
i think thatif the school rule is "any hair longer than XX inches must be tied back" then if the girl has less long hair than that it shoud be allowed to be down. It's not her fault her hair grows outwards instead of downwards
Video or no video, it is still a choice. One can slick hair down, or cut it shorter, tie it back, umpteen choices probably. No video will excuse that. Either the rules are complied with, or they are flaunted. And all seem to be treated the same presently, the difference is that someone with an issue wants it solved by being an exception.
I'm pleased they have dropped the rule.
I used to sit behind 'Toby'...a kid with big ears...dont think he ever got £8k
