That doesn't follow. I think it's what PP calls a non-sequitur. The BBC are making a programme which they think will generate revenue. They are not campaigning for Greta's crusade, Extinction Rebellion or anyone else. So there's no hypocrisy.

I don't like her manner or the way she is being used and fawned over, but I may listen in to see how she presents herself. I'd also like to see her interviewed and challenged though by someone who could press her on issues such as why she doesn't focus on countries like China and India.

There are many TV stations that commission documentaries on all sorts of subjects

Some good , some bad , depend on your personal opinions

Personally I think that I shouldn't have to pay a direct tax to watch programmes on the box

However that doesn't mean that the BBC should not make programmes on certain subjects

The only problem here for most is they are forced to pay for it. Make the BBC subscription and they can do what the hell they like without fer of objection.
