Had a text message from PP last night saying "Enter your code on the PayPal website. CODE: 4*****. Msg and data rates may apply." There were no links in the text message.

I havent used PP since before Christmas. I logged on (not using my phone) and there was no suspicious activity there. Nor anywhere in fact to enter a code. Nor any suspicious bank activity. As a precaution I changed all my passwords.

Anything else I should be doing? I dont get what this is likely to be given there was no link nor anything on PP. Any ideas?

Seems an odd scam if that's what it was. I'm not sure what it would achieve. Maybe they were hoping you'd text a reply to query it

No that's what I thought FF.

Only thing we could come up with is that someone has accidentally entered their phone number wrong and put mine in instead.
