Does anyone know if Bee hives to be a certain distance from neighbours fences? I am thinking of learning about them but dont want to get my hopes up!

I think if your neighbours have children it would be very unwise, you need to be considerate here.

Bees can cause problems for neighbours, I lived very close to a honey farm with my kids( about 200 yrds away ) and my kids were always coming home with bee stings. not the same thing I know, just be careful for you and your neighbours sakes.

Apart from the risks will be great having fresh honey on tap, being a pest controller, I have fresh honey on tap as well.

We always try to leave bees undisturbed but sometimes we do need to destroy a bees nest when they are a danger and the beekeepers cant take the nest away.
