>>> On The Antiques Roadshow next week I can hear the experts discussing you now: Expert A: "Well, Fred, I've never seen one like this before, have you? Could it be one of a pair, perhaps?" Expert B: "I doubt that very much, Alice. A specimen as fine as this one has got to be unique, surely?" A: "You're probably right. It definitely looks like different to anything...

According to Mikel Ruffinelli, women envy big hips and curves ;-)

I have learned over the years that it can be very very dangerous to critique anything to to with females ( they never ever forget ). Psssst just say what you think that they want to hear !
LOL gawd blimey that Chris is a brave bloke.
I'm glad that lady is happy with her curves, but let's get practical for a moment, all I'll say is it involves the bathroom and the cleansing of the area after use.

(which country was it which had the toilet roll theft?)

Bloody hell, Chris.... an hour glass figure? Think that’s a lot of dropped sand! How would I get through the turnstile when I go to see Kettering play?

You’ve got it, Tony!..... ;-)
Question Author
I guess as the Romans, Alba.... a very long tesorium.....if I have the correct word.
Question Author
Tersorium......I think.
It's amazing what links you find yourself clicking on in the early hours of the morning, after a couple of glasses of wine and reading a few posts on AB ;-)

Question Author
Indeed it is, Chris but I blame Alba.
xylospongium reminds me of an ab'er.

Do you think Ken Dodd had that in mind when he thought of a tickling stick?
Welllll I found out ( in the early 70's ) that them beer / pernod coolers in the bathrooms in the Spanish hotels at the holiday resorts ain't really beer or pernod coolers at all ( weren't to bad for cooling your feet in either ).
Question Author
Oh I hope not, Alba....the way he waved it about....the stick I mean. :-)
Question Author
I’m off to bed now with the image of Tony standing in a Spanish “beer cooler” cooling his feet... I’ll have nightmares!
Happy ??? Birthday Gness. Hope you have a wonderful day. xxxxxxxx
Question Author
Thanks, Helly....not quite yet but there is another even bigger birthday in the village the same weekend and our hotel is a popular wedding venue so things were getting fully booked up I discovered. Managed to book two holiday homes for family and my favourite pub with a fantastic chef for a dinner. Dave will host and cook for a drop in day here for friends and left over family......
Hope you're well.....x
those who said they couldn't make it have rearranged their plans now they know dave's doing the cooking ...

Is he? I am suddenly now available gness... xx
Chris, I don't think so lol xx
Tell the Chef, plenty gravy on Tony's dinner...
And sprouts and carrots- he loves those...
