If a person was born a man and at a young age had a sex change operation and offically/legaly became a woman - would they be 'allowed' to enter a Miss World competition?

I am aware that this has caused difficulties in a sporting sense where previously being a male has been a hinderance to some transgendered people competing, surely it would only be a disadvantage to be born male and can't in anyway have given a edge? Why wouldn't they be allowed to compete?

I think they would have an unfair advantage as most Miss World contestants look like drag queens or transexuals.

Is there not an issue that even after the surgical proceedures are complete the person still cannot legally change gender ie birth certificate cannot be amended to denote change? Not sure..anyone out there know?

I believe that birth certificates can now be changed
