Ok I Know this is an old article but it’s made more current after the controversy surrounding the woman in the blonde wig who assailed the panel at last Thursday’s QT.
I have no particular view on this other than to say it adds an interesting slant to the complaints so often voiced here about QT audiences being a bunch of lefties.

On television when people see or hear things that they don't agree with emotions are triggered that make the negatively experienced event more memorable in peoples minds and they will subsequently dismiss statistics or opposing facts as lies because it doesn't fit in with the experience they remember.
