If you heard of someone who had returned from Far East very recently (last week) and had been advised to self-isolate but decided that as he felt well there was no need and had returned to work what do you think should be done?
Should this be reported?
Who should this be reported to?
If folk decide they are not going to self-isolate how can this be monitored?

Bednobs. I don't know. I gave the info as I was told but when this was known a couple of people he works with who have young children refused to go into work. Fortunately they found out before being in contact with him.

Cannot see for the life of me that people who feel fine are going to self- isolate for 14 days, no pay and bills to pay and all that.

We know that there's a bunch of local people in affected the hotel in Tenerife at the moment. If they return I do hope they are taken to the Wirral rather than asked to self isolate as I cant trust them. Not everyone who has just used their leave allowances from work to take the holiday are going to afford to self isolated for another 14 days are they?

I remember listening to one scientist a week or so ago who was under the impression that the warmer weather may snuff out, or drastically reduce the spread of the virus, so it will be interesting to see if it spreads in Tenerife, other than that his take on it may be snuffed out.

Mamy I passed on your info and expect it will be acted on. The person in question was heard complaining loud and long about having to wear a mask to get on the plane and also being told to wear one for the journey. So what I'm okay seemed to be his attitude. Just hope he is not a carrier.

Yes I am aware that other types of 'flu can be a killer but there is no point in making a bed situation worse.

Who advised them to self isolate? Who told them that they couldn't get on the aircraft without a mask? (a new one on me as far as scheduled flights are concerned)
