Might seem a bit of a strange one, but does anyone else here enjoy their work?
(or DID enjoy their work)
Had a week off this week. Got a bit of DIY done and a few other bits and pieces but can't wait to get back to work next week.
Always hear people moaning about having to go to work but I love my job.
Is it just me or do others love their work?

I consider myself extremely lucky that I have a job which I genuinely enjoy. No day is ever the same. It's challenging but I enjoy that.

There are some times when I feel completely overwhelmed with the sheer volume but you learn how to work through that.

I'm currently involved in a v tricky and time consuming matter but the client can't afford to pay me. Her utter gratitude is worth the **** the other side is putting us through.
Tilly2I met Sir Keith Joseph once. I was not impressed.

So did I and neither was I, Tilly.
P.S. Loved my 26 years in the electronics repair industry. Every day was an education.
I enjoyed my job but was glad to put it down.
From the age of about 14 or 15 I knew exactly what I was going to do for a living and who I was going to work for. There was only going to be one job that I ever did and I could never have done anything else. I did have some fun working behind bars when I was at college though.
I would have made a great boss :-
" Hey you! Put your hat on straight, take your hands out of your pockets, I'll be watching you lad!"
I loved my job, I did payroll almost all of my working life. Last ten years I worked for a travel agent doing their payroll. I worked with great people, there were about Ten of us in the team. Unfortunately the boss turned paranoid in my last year so she ruined it for me.
So I retired at 60.
I love my life now, we have great friends and get out a lot. Belong to U3A and get involved a lot with that.
