I don't know, do you?
Maybe they listened to him and stopped building useless windmills in tourist areas.
TDS is worse than Bat-flu. It drives simpletons around the twist.
"Total spending by tourists reached nearly £5 billion in 2018, and the value of the sector to the wider economy is estimated to be £10.5 billion.

Tourism employs 218,000 people, which accounts for more than 8% of Scottish employment across a range of occupations and skills."

Thanks for that link, Pasta.

I've just emailed it to a friend who lives in Northern Italy (and who used to live in the USA), so that she can be reassured that there's a real expert who'll be able to sort out all these silly coronavirus problems easily ;-)
can't see it, it insists I'm blocking its ads (I'm not) :-(

I'll never know what's wrong with me now.
^^^ I've just tried accessing the site in Firefox, Tony, and it won't (initially) load for me either. (I used Epic as my browser when I first viewed the link). It seems that you need to disable 'private browsing' in many browsers to get the link to work:

It's definitely worth the effort!

Ruddy 'eck, Jno!

I've only had the oestrogen patches (that the hospital gave me yesterday) attached to my limbs for thirty-odd hours and already I've switched from 'Chris' to 'Christina'!

;-)
that'll teach me to use Safari (which autocompletes but still won't get me in to the Post)
