Who are the best banks and building societies to deal with please. I think Halifax. Lloyd's.tsb.and nationwide. What are other people's views. Thank you.

Depends on what you mean by best. If it is service it could be any of them as it depends on the staff in any particular branch. If interest or mortgage rates, a comparison site will give the info required.

Having experienced Lloyds closing branches and turning my local one into a non-counter branch, it is the last one I would describe as best, or even as adequate. But in it's defence they are all awful as far as I can tell. Wish I could do without them all.
