If folk don't have the app already, the emergency services can send a link to the person 'phoning if they're using a mobile.

I think it is a stunning innovation.
I first saw it on BBC Breakfast some months ago but started discussing it with an elderly relative last week..... she could see the merits of using it.

Doesn't always work though. I tried it once and he asked me for the three words, so I read off Up/Yours/@*%&¥£÷ and he put the phone down on me !
