I posted a few weeks ago something along the lines of ''Smoking, is it worth it?''
and mentioned my sisters husband who gave up years ago but has suffered multiple complications since.
Mum just rang me, crying, to tell me that he died not long ago.
Myself and all the family were very fond of him. A bloke that adored my sister for the 40+ years that they were married and wouldnt hurt a bloody fly.
Died too soon through smoking...
Im gutted!
It's such a waste, I am sorry especially for your sister, losing someone to smoking related disease. is so much worse if he'd given up. Your family are having such a had time right now. You are all in my thoughts.
Oh nailit, Im so sorry to hear your very sad news.Id like to be there to give you a big hug, its been a terrible shock for you and all the family. Take care xxx
Thanks all, much appreciated.
As much as I loved my brother in law my concern is for my mum and my sister who are both, understandably, devastated.
A few weeks ago my BIL said that he cursed the day that he ever picked up a cigarette. Ive got my own addictions but it seems that some addictions are readily available via shops, while other addictions are deemed illegal because they are detrimental to health.
The mind boggles!
Thanks anyway all,
