I wouldn't. I think everyone is behaving like Cpl Jones and massively overreacting. We don't get all this every year when thousands die of the flu virus. And no-one can stop the thousands dying. If the medical people had a cure for flu, thousands wouldn't die every year from it, would they?

DON'T PANIC!!! DON'T PANIC!!!

Anyway, I'm flying to Malta on Thursday. Not bothered about it, but the Maltese authorities have cancelled our memorial event that should have been taking place in the Maritime Museum in Vittoriosa. Shame really. We had the President Of Malta attending and a few more dignitaries.
Another massive overreaction, as the last I heard there were only 5 cases of CV reported in Malta. As opposed, probably, to hundreds of flu cases.

DON'T PANIC!!!! DON'T PANIC!!!!!

Only low oxygen, Peter? With the crap we used to live next to, dealing with CV'll be a doddle!
No I don’t believe everything I read in the media but when I see an ambulance driven by a driver in a hazmat suit and flanked by 2 police cars I take it seriously.
I'm healthy and fairly fit so I'm not too worried about myself. The fifteen year old in the next village is not so lucky. He has cystic fibrosis. That's horrid enough to deal with without the threat of this virus that could kill him.

How heartbreaking it must be for those like him to also have to deal with the selfish and uncaring attitude of folk like 10Clarion (and one or two others who have posted on this site) who see this virus as "a doddle" to deal with or be laughed at.

Many a slip.......does come to mind.
