In last night's Coronation Street, Ken Barlow was listening to some music on his hi-fi just before leaving his home for the last time. It was a piano piece with no operatic parts of any sort. When Tracy entered the room, he told her it was Puccini. Does anyone know the name of the music please?

Thank you.

I think it was from La Boheme.
I think it was from Madame Butterfly. It's repeated on Monday around lunchtime on ITV 2 (channel 6).
I think it was Tosca!
Un Bel Di?
I think you're right brainiac. It's where she discovers what a rat he is.

Just an extra bit of info, hard to believe Eccles has been played by the same dog (Tess) for 14 years.
I thought the dog looked most uncomfortable on Ken's lap, sort of stiff. It's not a very good at acting;-)
Better than Tracey, Ladybirder
Eccles is more convincing than all four actors who portray the Bailey family - surely the worst (especially the father) seen in any soap for a very long time.
