Ideal Birthday Present

Brother and his wife both celebrate their birthday on the same day next week (same year, same hospital, mothers in beds next to each other). Both over 70 and with underlying health problems so will be taking a joint present of a 24 pack of toilet rolls and some family cards. Will probably add some flowers and some chocolate so it doesn't look like a really shi**y present.

I always shop at about 7.15am on a Saturday so when I went last week and the shelves were full I got a 24 pack. Our grandson is having to work from home so had asked if he could move in with us as we have a lot more room for all the computer and phone set ups he will be using, plus we have his old bedroom from when he lived with us. I thought they would come in handy with him moving in. We were going self catering in France in April for 4-6 weeks but on Monday the company cancelled that so all the stuff we were taking with us, including loo rolls, is now filling our cupboards. Fallen lucky in some ways, no holiday but well stocked.
