Facebook group problems

Hi, I am a member of several facebook 'groups' and one of them is really being difficult - messages seem to come and go and whole threads disappear. The moderator has contacted facebook (don't know who or how) but its no better. All my other groups are fine, so any ideas why this one should be so bad? It does get a lot of traffic but I doubt its any more than a lot of groups. The messages sometimes show up on my home page and then not on the group, or some messages appear and the ones in between have gone.
