I stopped over 30 years ago, but there I was again last night, taking in deep drags, blowing out great clouds of smoke & really enjoying it.
Does anyone else have this 'habit' ?
If I catch the dreaded bug I'll buy a pack or two of Old Holborn and a few cases of Abbots. I'm almost 70 and immune system is shot so what the hell? :-)
Stopped tobacco 3 years ago, but only because I use a vape, nicotine only no flavour liquids. Without starting a battle on here, hopefully, NHS advice is if you can use a vape instead of smoking tobacco, that's good, it now only costs me pennies, I use a cheap vape pen, dose the job as good as all the expensive gear they try to sell you.
Stopped smoking about 15 years ago, but sometimes, after a lovely meal I think - wouldn't it be great to have a fag with my coffee? Wouldn't of course, just a passing whim.
I think you never really get rid of the habit; physically I have no desire to smoke, but I think my dreams demonstrate that it still has a psychological hold on me somewhere deep down.
