when recording in mpeg movie mode 640 x 480 standard mode, playback via a disk once copied to, is fine.  However, using 640 x 480 fine mode, playback becomes jumpy and sound distorted.  Why is this?  And how can I prevent it?  Many thanks

Hi
Sounds like a buffering problem, with normal playback at that resolution may only use 1-2mbs but with fine it may increase to 4-6mbs and possibly your graphics card or tv needs to keep up with information supplied but cant!
Unless you specify what you are playing it on, thats all i can think of!
