A special pat on the back for the Lidl store on Belfast Shore Road and the staff.
Went there at 8 am this morning. Security man had everyone in an orderly queue with good spacing between each other.
About 6 in at a time to the shop. All shelves well stocked including toilet rolls! All staff courteous, efficient and polite under pressure.
Got all we needed. Well done to all.

Will do.
Other German supermarkets are available. :-)
I found similar at Sainsbury's this afternoon, people were spaced out without being told to and it took only 10 minutes to get inside. But it was sunny; if the weather gets cold or wet, queuing outside won't be so good.

Shelves not particularly well stocked, though there were a few packets of loo roll. Perhaps I should have gone earlier than 3pm, though the email from Sainsbury's does promise that with restrictions on how much you can buy, there would be plenty for all, all day. This wasn't true.
Went to our local Co Op this evening, lots of empty shelves, people are either panic buying or stockpiling, will only get worse in the weeks to come, have to get up there early tomorrow once their delivery arrives.
Same in mine near Brighton today. It was a pleasure. Longish queue but moved quickly and the sun was shining. One out, one in. Security guard in the door was pleasant and thanked everyone. Not too many people in the shop at all.
I think Lidl and Aldi have an advantage in that they do not do online grocery deliveries, so they can concentrate on getting everything we need to their stores.
Well done to Lidl for that.

My Son in Law got me a few bits n bobs this afternoon.
