Boris says he cares about everyone and wants to put his arm round the nation at this critical time. And when it's all over, he'll put his hands round your throat, demanding the money back.
Be prepared! - for the following:
income tax - up 10%; VAT - up 5%; tax-free personal allowance - down by a minimum of £5k; cigs, booze and petrol - up by 50%.
It's all gotta be paid for, innit? There must be some willing, conscientious and wealthy souls here in AB Towers who will help the economy? Surely it's werf it guv'nor?
Yoos is gonna pay!
i don't believe your doomsday scenario,
this virus isn't going to go away any day soon,
i think that the government is doing a good job so
far with looking after the people.
I'm not sure I understand your tone or attempts to speak like TTT or PP but I think most people realise we will be paying this for a long time. I disagree with your list though- no chance of PA going down. Best bet is tax rates up by 10p in the pound, and people will understand.
..and I really do not think that folk will mind paying a bit more in order to receive care and attention through this ordeal..Boris and his Chancellor are doing an excellent job..and I am grateful it is he in power at this time..the alternative makes me shudder....
that would be a matter of opinion ..and given that a good 75% of the population could be considered unemployed... unconsidered and unkind..folk are really struggling all over and this kind of general criticism and stereotyping is out of order
