Audio Visual Out Of Sync
17 Answers
If one of AB's techies could help me I would be eternally grateful :-)
When on You-Tube, the audio goes out of sync with the visual after a few minutes.
I have googled the problem and followed (as much as I'm able...being a technophobe) varying instructions on how to resolve the issue. (updating drivers, clearing cache etc). But to no avail.
Its the same problem no matter what browser I use.
If anyone could help me resolve this it would be most appreciated.
I'm totally thick when it comes to tech....
TIA.

"I’m using Google Chrome:
1) In Chrome, in the top right corner, click on the three vertical dots button > Settings.
2) Scroll down to the bottom and click Advanced.
3) Scroll down to the bottom and in System, disable the toggle next to Use hardware acceleration when available.
4) Re-launch Chrome, play a video in YouTube and hopefully the audio and video out of sync issue has been solved."

Nails it was never going to be an easy or one shot answer solution. I take it that you are using w10 so this link is specific to that(it can happen using any operating system)
If you are using youtube from a desktop app. I would delete and reinstall it. I would also uninstall Chrome and then do a clean install. Do not uninstall Chrome unless you have a back up browser to launch afterwards. Just read this and do not download anything from the links contained because I do not know what they contain.
