If more bothered to use punctuation (oh oh pedantic) then other people would understand what the others are saying and not get all of this mix up of what they meant or didn't mean, because they didn't use a comma when necessary.

Sorry malibu- sioux, I'm a bit pished, are you meaning that parents keep kids off school a lot? Sorry if I've misunderstood.
Personally I blame the PC Brigade, who have made it impossible for teachers to teach because children as young as 8 know 'their rights' and their parents parade into school like vigilanties because their child was told off for misbehaving.

i agree totally, i run courses on letter writing (job applications) and I'm horrified. i also give feedback on job application forms and im very harsh because at the end of the day, i would bin about 95% of them. i do however appreciate the fact that it's not seemed as important these days...call me old fashioned deary's!!!
