So, from nausea, dizziness, and the runs intermittently over the last 2 weeks, I have now got a mild cold. Sore throat over last 2 days, sniffles and sneezing here and there.

Anyone else feel like they've got a cold or anything similar?

Sorry if I'm becoming repetitive, but I just need communication and interaction at this time. Still in contact with work colleagues and working from home but need other distractions.

It seems to be a bit of a time for allergies, too. Are there any you know of? I haven't had a cold in literally years and years. But I have had a slightly sore throat on and off, recently.

I don't have any allergies that I know of Pixie. Although several years ago I had a continuous runny nose and sneezing without feeling it was a cold.
Ok, it may or may not be, it just seems many people are complaining of allergies (pollen) just now. Are your nausea and dizziness better?and assuming- you aren't pregnant... x
Runny, drippy nose here...but that's typical of me. Also a slightly scratchy throat...also not unusual. But it makes you paranoid.
It's hay fever season. I'm guessing the grasses haven't been cut so we're suffering from grass pollen allergies.
I need some distraction too. It's hard to believe it's the 48th of March already.
miserable - whiny voice , wussy, clinging to bed - yeah that is me on a normal day ter daah

I think you have escaped Corona virus - which isnt there anyway according to SOME on this site !

a moderator suggested trying to wash away the clag in your froat with whiskey

Defo not preggers, Pixie ;o)

Mild dizziness when I wake up in the morning but I put that down to too much time looking at my tablet.

It does indeed make you paranoid, Pasta :o//

Does pollen cause sore throats?

Unfortunately I don't have any whiskey, Peter :o(
Allergies I would think Tigger. I have exactly the same symptoms as you. I am now not orrying at all that I have covid 19. In different times I would talk to my GP as I think I have sinus problems now. Dizziness can be caused by allergies. I'm using Sterimar salt spray up my nose.

Day 12

Had a follow up consultation with my surgery this morning and they diagnosed me as having viral labyrinthitis or ear infection. Been prescribed with meds to relieve the dizziness but told to isolate. My mum is picking up my prescription and will drop off outside my house.
That's a relief for you, once the meds kick in normality normally follows quickly
Question Author
It is a relief, Rowan. Just worried that my mum is having to go out and pick up my meds :o(
