Cost of replacing conservatory roof

Our 10 ft x 8ft conservatory roof needs replacing. Before I get estimates, can anyone give us a rough idea of the cost, please?

Hi sixpence, Depends on type of roof, Georgian, Victorian or lean to.
Do you want glass or Polycarb etc.

Prices can vary considerably as does quality but you could be looking at between �1,200 to �2,000 depending on what you want.

Thanks, BigAl. I realise now that there is no simple answer to my question, but I have looked at the site you mentioned, and also a few more, and I feel a bit more knowledgeable, and hopefully won't be blinded by science when the professionals arrive. Thanks.
