I use Freecom's USb digital tv tuner. Works a treat, via a suitable aerial. Even saves whole programs to the harddrive. If you go down that road ensure you can receive freeview first. The device is about 40, and needs to be setup.

Thanks Strugglin' for the info. My HP PC uses Intervideo Home Theatre software to operate TV/Radio; it specifically says not suitable for Digital TV. Would the card you suggest come with its own suitable software?
HI, this is not a card but a stand alone USB device. Basically a digital tuner you plug into a usb port. You then connect it to a suitable aerial. I assume you can recieve freeview channels.
Check first if neccessary.

Yes it comes with software. But it may not work first time. I had to email for support . The solution was a minor one, in the setup procedure. Adjustment was really easy and worked. Picture quality very good.
