...and no sound. Yet it says it's playing. This is on a Samsung tablet.
I can't...or haven't been able to...download the app. My device isn't optimised...

It depends how up to date your tablet is. I downloaded the All 4 app to Samsung Tab 3 that I used to have and the app was rubbish - I could never play the programmes that I downloaded. I can do it on my new tablet but All 4 always fell woefully short of expectations.
