Iceland had delivery slots from Saturday onwards
While I can pop to local shops I can't manage heavy stuff so a real bonus. Saves a bus journey with all the risks that entails....

However they sell all the basics (such as bread, butter, milk, baked beans, pet food, etc) and I found out yesterday that they've got a delivery service around the town. (Just 50p per delivery, with a minimum spend of £10). Given that I can always top up any shopping I might want to do through geting my cat food and/or beer from there as well, in order to reach the £10 minimum, I think I might give them a try. (There's no mucking about with registering for an account or waiting for online slots. You just phone them up with your order and pay by card over the phone).
Sometimes the local shops are the best!
