I don't think I'd actually even heard of him before "My Life". I remember hearing it on the Terry Wogan breakfast show while driving to work and thinking it was absolutely fantastic! Bought the album that lunchtime, then his entire back catalogue that weekend.

I remember hearing Movin' Out on the radio when I was a nipper. I expect I heard Just The Way You Are too, but it was a little too schmultzy to stick in my memory.

It wasn't until Allentown and Goodnight Saigon that I really got into him.
