Wednesday. Not too bad outside, 8.6C We never got yesterdays promised rain, but we might well get it today.
I'm still confines to barracks, if it stays warm and sunny I'l do some gardening, not my favourite pastime but it has to be done. Might get the barbie going, we shall see.

Morning DT. It was indeed chilly yesterday. No wind at the moment, so it should be warmer today.

Re rowanwitch's clearly fake NHS worker, appearances on the other hand can be deceptive. I was in a long bus queue at the terminus when this goth-type youngster with faux leather skirt and fishnet tights went straight to the front of the queue. Good job I didn't say anything because she then opened the door and jumped into the driver's seat!

Attempted scam yesterday....a text one suggesting that I had been to Lloyds and wanting market research feedback - what got me suspicious was that 'you have filled in part of the questionnaire already, please complete the rest' - Interesting as even though I had been to the bank last week, I have never filled in any questionnaire - phoned telebanking and they couldn't see anything untoward on the account - or had heard of the site.......so delete Boaty style...into the river Fal for some drowning.

Apart from a touch of cabin fever we are doing well thanks.
Mum's back to the heart specialist end of next week. If we gather a good report I may possibly go home.
That might scare my wife after all this time ;-/
