No Water
9 Answers
I switched off my heating, changing to hot water only a couple of weeks ago. I noticed that the pressure was low and the advise window on the boiler said to increase the pressure. I did this and now there is no water coming from my hot taps at all. Any suggestions before I start boiling kettles.

Some involve two valves under the boiler.
One opens up a connection to the main in order to top up.
The other diverts the mains water from the hot water system to the heating side of things.
When you've finished topping up, these valves should be returned to their original state. My guess is that you haven't done this.
You've topped up, but left the hot water system NOT connected to the main.......... so... NO water.
Maybe ;o)

I would try doing as the --the builder says. Recently I topped the water up on our combi but didn't' put the taps back to the right position until my son told me (on our boiler the tap heads have to be in the horizontal position) . Don't know whether your boiler is the same but it might be worth a try.
