And been called out into action.
I'm signed up for medicines and equipment transport but no call-in yet, 250 hours 'on duty' nearly clocked up. Perhaps all is hunky dory here in deepest Cornwall.....there's quite a lot of responders around me, about 7 in each of the two villages/town on me - it's quite interesting to see who is on, the App showing this information , if released.
So, any stories from other ABers?

I was wondering whether to apply to become a covid tester for the public at large but no idea where to find any application forms - I see the Uni of Oxford is looking for 5000 people to test the new vaccine - that carries some risk I suppose and probably will be done near the Dreaming Spires....
My local village has put on an amazing community support group - however, we had one tragic accident in a 94 year old coming out in a brand new car (a Polo)..after visiting the newsagent and Jamal thought the man was going to clobber the back of his new van, he went down the main street (Lemon Hill), lost control and ploughed into the shopping line outside the village shop. 3 injured but one woman, aged 63, had to be air-lifted to Plymouth, where she lost both her legs..... What he was doing out is a good question, given the support that there is plus two local shops providing a delivery service to the vulnerable.
