Every Saturday evening my 81 yr old sister in law and her husband , change to wearing Evening dress, they were booked on a cruise and it was cancelled, she sets the table with the best napkins ,makes a delicious meal, cracks open a bottle good wine , they get Alexa to play some lovely background music and pretend they’re dining out, this they do every week at 8pm

She looks amazing , puts on her make up and her evening dress , she send me a photo each week ,she has her glass of wine in her hand,could easily pass for a 60 something, he’s in evening suit with dickie bow tie, they even dance to some nice romantic music

That's great - good for them.

I am sure they gloss over the fact that waiters don;t bring the food in, and clear away after, and they can head off to the evening show in the theatre, but well done them for making the best of a bad situation.

I had a cruise cancelled as well, I was due to be working on board for a week, down to Lisbon and back, i was gutted, but hopefully September and onwards, things will get back to nromal and I can go somewhere then.
