Deleting Accounts From XP Home

ive found a problem when i was trying to delete an account from my computer. im the admin on it and as i went to delete it (because its been causing problems, wasnt connecting to the net when every other one did etc) i clicked the delete button and then control panel stops responding, yet ive made numerous ones since and deleted them to test it works, its just that one stubborn account, any suggestions?

Don't delete the acount. Go to C:\Documents and Settings\ and rename the profile for that account. ( Add the number 1 to the end of the name). When you next log on as that user it will create a new profile for them.
