What stats in particular are you wanting?
I noticed yesterday, Sky News is reporting 769 deaths but the official figure is ten fewer at 759 and I have seen differences before.

I would have thought broadcasters would be using official figures to avoid confusion and doubts.
In the UK, they changed the timing of the release of the stats a couple of days ago. This meant, I think, that one day there seemed to be very few and the following day it jumped hugely.
As far as I could see, only Channel 4 News reported this.
That's why I would only suggest the government site.
I was surprised that the figure for one day was so low but I seen it covered only a period of eight hours.
Hmm, if you'te trying to find out your own area quickly the BBC one is much easier.
It also points out that not all cases have been tested, which is surely worth bearing in mind. There are probably thousands more cases unrecorded, overall.
