Has anyone subscribed to sky broadband. If so, could you give a quick review. Compared to AOL it is extremely cheap..

AOL is a good choice but you must always have the AOL program running even if, like me, you hate the user interface. Also the AOL program takes quite a bit of memory which will be a problem if you have 256mb Ram or less. I would take Tiscali. With a 2meg speed for 15 unlimited usage it currently is the best in the UK. 8meg is 17.99 with free evening and weekend calls. Hope this helps ;)
SKY Broadband only have a 2GB cap on the free package. For 5 a month you have a 40GB Download limit, and the 10 a month option is unlimited.I do not know anyone who has yet signed up for Sky BB, but I will be doing so in the next few weeks.I currently pay 34.99 per month for a 10MB NTL cable connection, but Sky are offering a 16MB connection for 10 per month.
I have no experience of Sky Broadband, but I would be wary of rushing over to them.
They have been doing a big publicity push lately and probably have many people signing up, but this may be causing a backlog, or a load on their network.
I would let the Sky BB rush settle down a bit before jumping ship.
You may also find that some BB ISPS drop their prices if they see their customers moving to Sky BB

I tried to subscribe to them and was told that it is unavailable to me as yet. I am pretty sure this is the same for most other folk. I don't know anyone that's been able to get it yet. They can offer you a 17.99 a month package and then say that when theirs becomes available they will automatically cancel your 17.99 one and transfer you over to their free one. as said before I think it's all a publicity thing at the moment along with them trying to guage a level of interest.
