I was wondering that - it seemed to have a smiley face on it. Also, wouldn't Erik's signature as Adam have been noticeably different from that of the real Adam, easily seen by the powers-that-be?
There are quite a lot of 'improbabilities' in it; the main one being neither of the kids seem to have noticed that their dad has suddenly become a totally different human being to what he was. Erik's 'death' cannot be used as an excuse for that.
Not watched last night's 2 episodes yet.
Lots of plot holes but I have enjoyed watching it. Haven't watched the very last episode yet.
Also the flashback scene in which Adam beds Ingrid after the beach party. Okay, she was a bit drunk but surely the size and shape of 'him' would have been different to Erik's even though they are identical twins. Not to mention his technique and his, shall we say, arriving face:-/
Just watched the last 2 episodes and the ticket on his windscreen had the word 'traffikaaker' on it, so it may have been a parking ticket?
Didn’t Frank (the policeman and friend) give Erik a ticket with a smiley face on it in episode one when he was chasing the guy who had taken his camper van?
I have only watched 3 episodes so far, (husband is not keen on it), as can only watch at certain times!

thanks carolgif, then I think,in retrospect' that Frank left it there to indicate to Eric that he knew the truth ?
Well done carol for noticing that....when I said "what's all that for", OH said "well, he issued a parking ticket with a smiley in an earlier episode - he's done it again to show he knows what's gone on".
You're one of not many viewers who remembered that.
Finished watching it last night. Frank realised when his daughter at the grave said she hoped Mummy has met Erik in heaven and not thought he was his brother. He then left the ticket on the car to show that he had worked it out. The speech Erik (posing as Adam) gave at the funeral confirmed it.
