Happy days. Bobbisox. It was expected that I did a repeat act every Christmas party. I used to summarise all the bloopers and mishaps that occurred during the year. I made sure our present senior officer I/C came in for a serious lambasting which went down well with the lads. For instance I pronounced our Inspector as 'Innsy ***' in my script.
I always wonder why I never rose above the lowly rank of Contsable. :-)

Yes we really pushed the boat out there. Why waste money on fripperies? Youngs Brewery was just down the road from us in Barnes and Mortlake Brewery( Watneys) was on our doorstep. I was facing a few tables laden with pins of beer and mountains of tins. Hic .
