What's the difference between HD ready, and HD compatible?? I've found this TV and in one description it says compatible, and on the picture, HD ready...?

I do not think this TV has a HDMI connector.

HDMI is an industry standard connector that will become vital in the future for connecting devices like DVDs, TVs etc .

I am no expert in this area, but I am not sure it is wise to buy a new TV that has no HDMI connector.

To answer your question.

HD Compatible means it will work with HD devices but not fully support HD. So a HD compatible TV will connect to a new Sky HD box but not give you the full resolution.

HD Ready means it will work with a Sky HD box AND give you full HD image.

So it seems it is best to buy a HD Ready TV rather than a HD Compatible TV.
