Has anyone had a good henna tattoo done in india, safe from allergic reaction? Ive heard many places can gve terrible allergic reactions, causing long term scarring.. eek!

I remember this being on watchdog or similar programme, maybe it is only certain people who have an allergic reaction or maybe it is just certain products and ingredients in the henna.

the bad stuff is called black henna.. or something similar, it's illegal.
I know someone who had a henna tattoo done in the dom rep and when they got home it had scarred his skin, looked like an awful burn. I wouldn't bother personally, get one done in london or somewhere local where you know it's safe.
