Are some people living on another planet?
To listen to Government ministers you would think the virus is over and done with.
Headlines indicating that they "think it's all over".
Lockdown ends, Bank Holiday relief. Picnics a go go.
Distancing a thing of the past. Family get togetherness. Pubs and restaurants opening gardens. Back to school and work.
Let's get into the real world here.
The virus is still here. Here in NI parents have told schools they will not be sending children back to school till it's safe.
No one is safe till a cure is found. Flying? No one will be flying anywhere for a long time. Due to go on holiday? Forget it. The resorts don't want infected by hordes despite unfortunately losing millions in revenue.
Meanwhile the Government tells us its policy has been a success.
Unable to meet testing targets except on one day by fiddling figures.
Now Johnston wants to double the target. Did you listen to Brandon Lewis defending it this morning. More brains in a false face.
Highest death toll in Europe but government says that's wrong as you can't use statistics. We have watched statistics and graphs for months from the Government for Gods sake.
The government is at a loss to find the next step. After all the nonsense of "we are taking the medical experts advice" some of the experts have disappeared from the daily chat after speaking out!
Also £400.000 thousand PPE items just purchased by the Government in Turkey have found to be about as useful as themselves.

And on top of the OPs thread, Hancock bought millions of duff test kits from Poundstretcher, and 400.000 duff PPE from Poundland. Should have gone to M&S.
on the front of the daily mirror (and other papers) -
"Five Steps to End the Lockdown"

didn't showaddywaddy have a hit with that?
(whap - whap - ooooohh….)
Its all second guessing on news programmes and in newspapers just the same as people on facebook and groups like this so they can be the ones who said they called it! The honest answer is as the bloke on the Aviva advert says "I don't know, nobody knows" so lets wait and see what the actual announcement is before making such unsubstantiated statements because one thing is for sure - someone will be right but the vast majority will be wrong. No doubt we will then get "I told you so".
13.21 Well yes sometimes guessing , but sometimes referring to statements already made by the powers that be, and having an opinion on whether they be right or wrong.
I don't see anyone kicking the Turkish company for flogging shoddy goods
