Celebrating 'P' Day

Yesterday I reached pension age - and as a treat I have bought myself a new fridge. In all these years I have never had a new large electrical appliance other than a small tv so its a real pleasure to actually get something with all the instructions intact! Shouldn't say it I suppose but at present I am actually better off than I've ever been, and when the pension payment kicks in later this month provided I can return to work for a while I will actually have some spare cash.

My pension feels like free money. I paid in from fifteen, but still feels like something for nothing. Every month too.
