spam origins
2 Answers
I received Spam email claiming that I had registered myself to receive it. The message gives the ip number of the computer used (62.7.134.161) and the hostname of the service provider (host62-7-134-161.webport.bt.net). From this information is it possible to find out who registered my details or from which PC it was registered? Thanks.

Go to url astalavista.box.sk and do a search for trace software, you will get some names for some programs. They also make anti-spam software, such as Spam Killer. There are other programs also. Another trick try & type the IP address that you were given into your address bar.
