The lockdown is eased to a point were a lot of shops start opening, but at the same time restrict the number of customers in the shop at one time, is there going to be massive sales going on. Before the lockdown many fashion shops started to put out summer wear, has there will be almost no one going on holiday in the UK or over seas, will they just be looking to turn their stock back into cash, with or without a profit.?

There will likely be lots of good bargains, sadly some may be closing down sales but let's hope not too many of those.
Probably. Many though will have been trying to sell online. I get an email from Jack Wills with details of sale items every day plus emails from lots of homeware shops

Yep, there's the online sales of course, but with holidays more or less gone with the wind, that's got to be a big chunk of business gone, before they even open. Plus a lot of folk are not going to have the money to spend regardless of how much they discount. All this talk of getting shops open is not going to be that great I fear, staff having to be paid has normal, but no customers coming through the door.
You appear to know the answer so why ask?
It's AS not has for the last time.!!
Denton .. I have tried to explain that 'Has' turns a statement into a question. It certainly makes it a difficult read, but then got my answer removed.

Just confirmed it with my 5 year old grandson .. 'as' only has two letters in it !
And when teacake needs to correctly use 'has', she spells it 'as'. Really strange.
depends - some things are perishable, like food; some are sort of semi-perishable, like fashion clothes; things like books and saucepans are timeless. The shorter the life of your stock the more you may feel like cutting its price to get rid of it.
don't split your infinitives when you're telling people how to write proper, iluvmargie; it's really strange.

I find some of the above comments amusing, one can get by without some skills, but to try and get by without others, can be really problematic, to the point of disaster. My accounting skills/ home economics are impeccable, my bank account always being healthy, now, and for many past years of self employment, don't ever under estimate other people for a few cracks you may see to be dumb, and never think you are above other people, its a big mistake many people make, and leads to their own downfall.
jno aren't split infinitives acceptable nowadays because so many people do it?
Sure I read that somewhere.
I'll carry on doing EXACTLY what I want thank you very much jno.
Oh my teacake, I promise I will be very careful not to negotiate my own downfall, honest! (or should that be 'honestly' jno??).
iluvmargie Do you have an orangery by any chance?
No.

A person with confidence is good, a person that's over confident can be a danger to themselves, and others around them. A good example is Donald Trump. In a real crisis he turns to mush, way out of is comfort zone, the only weapon he can turn to, is one of insults, and belittlement of others.

O dear here I am again.( his)
To boldly go.....
should you be writing honestly or honest, iluvmargie? mmm... I don't know.
