Do you mean a jasmine plant in a zinc pot? if is is scented then its not winter flowering and it has been specially treated to flower now. Keep it inddors in a bright place and keep it moist. Put it outside once the weather has warmed up and there is no risk of frost at all.

is it in a zinc pot? Sellers often put descritions of the container on the label....I have got a ceramic hyacinth for instance that certainly isn't ceramic! Scented jasmine is hardy and can live outside once its acclimatised but it will be tender now if it has been brought into bloom early and if its kept outside in a pot then the roots must not freeze.
Hi there! I was googling jasmine zinc as I need the Latin name for it so my mum can get it in Sweden, but still haven’t found it. Anyways, I bought mine two years ago from Sainsbury’s in an indoor pot. Kept it indoors for a few weeks and then we planted it in the flower bed in the garden. This spring it has just exploded. It’s very bushy and lush and lots of pink buds before it turns into white flowers and the scent is very overpowering!! So I don’t see the issue with planting it in the garden:) hope this helps! Still need the Latin name though!
